I'm reading "The discovery of the child " by Maria Montessori. It was a bit 'of time I wanted to read this book because I like many of the "games" that are part of the Montessori method and I had loved the book "Children need of confidence." I was curious to read something written by Maria Montessori and I must say I like the book. I arrived about half of the book, I read a few pages every day and skip the parts that deal with topics too technical or too difficult for me. I also pointed out some parts and when I finish, maybe I will dedicate a post. But today I wanted to show the latest toys created from the book. Another game that I proposed to Topastro these days is a hearthstone ellipse-shaped line. In our house the cardboard boxes, large and small, are often turned into games. We have created a mini kitchen , a digital camera the hut for the crib, a theater of shadows , a train and several other games.

A simple game that I've never posted on this blog is the house. Topastro and Chicken, the male cat at home, if the contest is for a while 'Cause even a chicken really like the cardboard boxes and there you see a jump in immediately. But he wanted Topastro a house for his small teddy bear and I helped to look for items to furnish it.

We have recovered a small box that has become a small table, covered with a piece of yellow cloth that serves as a tablecloth. A small roll of toilet and the board has become a bit of a red carpet pile.

An old wooden box that contained the bed turned out to be as perfect! I cut a small door with a hook and I also created the handle.

Muffin for Saint Lucia

This recipe is one that I usually use to prepare the muffins, nothing special in the ingredients. And it's not even the original recipe, I like them so, they are good, soft and low in fat. Meanwhile Caris wants to collect as many recipes bright and colorful and give the department mentioned above. And here they are the cakes that I prepare quite often, sometimes with chocolate chips, sometimes with raisins or coconut flour, in short, by adding what you like best.

Main Ingredients:

300 gr flour 200 gr sugar

80 g corn oil

1 small jar of vanilla yogurt

1 / 2 packet of baking powder, (8 grams)

2 eggs the juice of two oranges (or another cup of yogurt)

blend the ingredients until you get a composed of relatively soft, the consistency of a thick yogurt. I'll add more or less orange juice to create the right consistency of the compound. Alternatively, you can put two pots of yogurt instead of one. Also because of oranges in a little while he will find it. Most of the time I will prepare simple, does not bring those. But this is a special occasion and it takes a little bit of color! We divide the mixture into glasses or bowls and is colored with a few drops of food coloring. Blue, red, green, yellow ... Maybe even the cocoa :-)

A Now you can add chocolate chips, raisins, hazelnuts ... you put paper cups in the pan with the appropriate holes and fill with the dough to about an inch from the edge of paper. I put the muffin colored dough in layers of three different colors and I covered with granulated sugar.

The muffins are baked in the oven at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes, I always use a toothpick to make sure they are cooked to perfection. Should not be cooked too much, otherwise they lose their softness. Unfortunately you have to wait for it to cool to taste, and maybe cut them in half and stuff them with chocolate cream !
